Woke up to beautiful sunny day, drove to the Fortress ticket building where you board busses to make short trip out on the point where you step back in time to 1744 and enter the Fortress which is the largest reconstructed 18th century town in North America. They did a great job and everybody there is in the dress of the time. The bread served in the Inn’s is made in the bakery on site that use wood burning ovens. The people that work there speak English and French because a lot of tourists come from Quebec because it was a French fort. Guinness wasn’t too happy with the musket firing and cannon shot but he just hide behind me. I ate Fish soup with “Commoner Bread “, white and whole wheat mix very dense but good tasting for lunch with a local Ale called Perpela. After all that walking we drove to Baddeck to a campground and crashed for the night.
