During the night another rain storm blew in. This morning when I got up it had slowed down to mist, so I decided to take care of at least some of my errands. First I went to Sherman to North Texas RV to pick up a tow bar cover which I had ordered. Of course, I’ll need to wait until the tow bar is dry to put it on.
While I was at the RV dealer’s I discovered that he also owns the Lazy “L” RV park next door (www.lazylrvpark.com). Out of curiosity, I stopped by the park office to check on their facilities and prices for RV club rallies and was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice large club room which groups can have exclusive access to, a swimming pool, laundry room, free WiFi service and long pull-through sites. Group rates are $19 per night for 30-amp service and $21 for 50-amp service with full hookups. Their regular rates are $26.50 and $28.50, respectively. Cable is $2 per night. This would be a good place for a rally. There is quite a lot to see and do in the area.
Back in Denison I picked up my dry cleaning and went to Gray’s Jewelers to have a battery installed in my watch. By then it was sprinkling a little heavier, so I decided to head back home. My other errands can wait.
