Thursday, September 27

After four wonderful nights, we finally went into Halifax, and visited the popular and beautiful Peggy's Cove on the way.

Halifax turned out be a very navigable and manageable city with the RV. We found our hotel, the Cambridge Inn and were able to park right out in front where we could see it from our window. We had a very nice room on the top floor which included breakfast delivered to our room, free internet, and an hour of free North American calling each day. We walked down to the harbor (and we mean DOWN - the streets are steep) and found a wonderful seafood restaurant, O'Carrolls, where we feasted. It helped some that we had to walk UP the hills again to get back to our hotel.
