Class of 05 - all in a row (or almost all of...

Today, we got up early and packed up and drove to Casa Grande, where we will be joining about 400 other RVrs for the Gypsy Journal Rally. We caravaned with Jim and Jo from Yuma to Gila Bend where we had to stop for gas. We met Janice and Dean there and drove on into Casa Grande to the Pinal County Fairgrounds. Several of our Class of 05 were already there and several more arrived right after us, so we are all parked together. There are so many things going on here at this fairgrounds!! A livestock show was in process when we arrived. There were some beautiful black angus calves and some pretty good looking lambs as well. Brought back memories of my own 4-H days and of the Greeley County Fair and Livestock Show. There was also a NASCAR race event just finishing up and another RV rally - the FCMA - were just departing. All was handled very well. We were parked in among the livestock trailers etc and as they left throughout the day, other RVs were parked in their places. We got all set up and registered. I finally met Bernie Frees, a massage therapist I had been trying to locate since Quartzsiste. I have an appointment for a massage tomorrow. I am really looking forward to that. I have been having some problems that I know can be relieved by a good massage.

We took a bike ride and visited with more class members and other RVrs and turned in early - again! As Wes says, this retirement is hard work!
