This morning, on the way to Silver Sneakers class, I stopped at Batteries Plus to have a watch battery installed and to get some other batteries for my CO2 and smoke detectors.
After exercise class, we had a little St. Patrick’s Day party. Lisa, our instructor, made some cucumber-lime water with green food coloring. There were also veggies with dip, as well as some cookies and miniature cinnamon rolls. Nearly everyone had worn green. Lisa read some well-known Irish proverbs, some of which were pretty funny.
After class I went to the mall to Fast-Fix to see if they could put a new crystal on one of my watches. They didn’t have one in stock, so the lady said she would do some research to see if she could find one. She said that one could be custom made but that it would be a bit pricey. I doubt that I’d want to have one custom made because the watch isn’t all that valuable. I don’t know when or where the crystal had come off.
