Sunday morning, we attended the Patton Ward for church. They have a very unusual chapel here in St. David. It is "L" shaped. That afternoon, we drove over to the Valley Vista RV park to join some of JoElla and Gary's friends for more music "jammin". We arrived before everyone else and as we parked, this man came over to inquire where we were from in Kansas (he had seen our license plates). Turns out he and his wife grew up in Elkhart and his friend and his wife were from Colby. What a small world!! Gene and Harry joined the rest of our group for music and I had a chance to visit with their wives. They are both full timing now and enjoy their new lifestyle. About halfway through the afternoon, another man named Arnold joined us. He was 78 years old and had been playing music since he was a young man. He had a guitar and a harmonica which went around his neck. He played very well. We had a great afternoon playing and singing bluegrass, country and ballads.

Monday, Wes and I took the morning off. We had planned to get some cleaning etc. done, but I don't know where the time goes. Before we knew it, it was time to drive over to Willcox and meet the Richmonds for dinner and visiting. We ate BBQ at this cool train car restaurant. The food was great. The company even better. We love these friends and are grateful they make time in their busy schedule for us whenever we are in the area. We will probably not see them again until the annual Hardy Party in October.
