Our local furry “weather forecaster” saw his shadow but the KXAN meteorologist overrode him, saying that we’ll have an early spring.
Today Jay and Joyce Lindner, Nancy Riley and I had lunch at Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant. Our favorite waiter, Reggie, was off today but our waitress did a good job, too. The food was good, as always.
Jay and Joyce have sold their fifth-wheel trailer and will be moving early next month to a house in Sun City, Georgetown. We’ll really miss them but we wish them well.
After we dropped off Jay and Joyce, Nancy and I went to Ikea in Round Rock. Nancy thought she wanted a bed cover that she had seen but decided not to buy it after all. That store is like a maze! A shopper could get lost in there and keep going around in circles for years. :>) My back was behaving itself fairly well but I still was glad to get out and sit down. Before going home we stopped at some bookstores in Austin to see if I could find a cover/satchel for my new Bible. No luck. Maybe I can find one big enough online.
