Avoca is a very small town near the Wisconsin River. The campground's welcoming committee happens to be Mary's sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Tom. Sue takes the calls and collects the money for camping here. The sites have electricity and there is a dump station and washroom with nice warm water. There isn't a grocery store or laundromat, but there's a bar, a post office, a convenience store, a bank and a gas station!
While the temperature is more tolerable than when I left the Porkies, it isn't getting up to 60 degrees during the day, but at least there isn't frost at night! It's been cloudy and rainy, but a sunny day is coming on Wednesday, and I have plans for the afternoon with Sue! You'll soon see!
