We are ready to go in the morning. We got our mail, serviced the car and did all the errands we had planned and are all stocked up and ready to roll. We are so looking forward to Canada and then Alaska.
We finally had some time today to visit the Giant Springs State Park and enjoyed looking at the beautiful falls. The first one was before we got into the park and it was called Black Eagle Falls. Be sure to read the sign on the picture it tells the story about Lewis of the Lewis and Clark Expedition visiting this area in 1805. We then visited two more falls and scenic overlooks called Rainbow Falls and Lewis and Clark Overlook. We enjoyed the park much, I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
We are leaving early in the morning heading for Calgary. We did a lot of calls finding out information this week about our cell phone in Canada etc. etc. I am so glad we did. We had good news about the cell phone, it is the same charge for use in Canada as the US but my Sprint Internet Card connection was a whole different story. There is an extra charge of 16 cents a SECOND. That adds up to $9.60 a minute. I am so glad I found out about the extra charges before I opened this computer in Canada. We will be camping at places with free hook ups for sure. :-) If you don't see a post for awhile from us you will now know why. I will update as soon as I can and keep everyone posted as much as I can.
Our last stop today was at the Dollar Tree to buy Ollie a new toy. He chews them up in about two days but he enjoys it so much we treat him once in a while. I had to share this picture it was so funny. The face is already chewed off but he is taking it everywhere he goes. See why I go to the dollar store for these?
Okay, that's it for now. A big welcome to all the 403 new readers this week. We are happy to share our adventures with you.
