ADVENTURES IN OUR AMERICAN DREAM travel blog

We drove around the lake today geocaching...

This one was pretty easy to snag..

It was hidden under a bush..

Info about the area...

This was very sad to see...

We also saw beautiful Sandhill Cranes today...

Back home, Ollie is in love with this place..

I have to first mention that today is my babies birthday. Happy Birthday to our awesome son, we can’t believe you are 42 today. We spent the day geocaching and wish you were here with us. This area is loaded with geocaches hidden all around the gorgeous lake. We almost have the place to ourselves. Ollie has been having a ball running without a leash.

We found our first cache today at Cisco's Landing. Cisco's Landing is a full service Utah State Parks Concessionaire located on docks in the Bear Lake State Park Marina. We hope all of the caches in the area are this easy to find. We did see one sad thing today, a poor deer had tried to make it over the fence and didn’t make it. His carcass is still humped over the fence. We wished we had been here early enough to help the poor fella.

On a happier note, we did spot a couple of Sandhill Cranes in the field. Another great day at Bear Lake, check back later for more
