This afternoon Nancy and I walked over to P. Terry’s Hamburger Stand to get something for lunch. On the way we saw a big gold Cadillac convertible with Texas longhorn cattle horns mounted on the front. We couldn’t resist whipping out our cameras to take a few shots of it.
Then it was on to P. Terry’s. There was quite a crowd in line to place their orders. It was worth the wait, though, because their hamburgers are really good. We sat at a picnic table to eat (there is no indoor seating at this particular store). Then we walked over to the pedestrian bridge to sit and watch the kayaks and canoes on Ladybird Lake and the pedestrians on the bridge – most of them with dogs. We enjoyed the cool breeze.
On the way back home we stopped at Schlotzsky’s where I bought a Cinnabon. I’ll have it instead of dinner tonight.
