We are in Anchorage for a few days and it seems so nice to be back in a big city. They have a Wal-mart, Costco and all the trimming. After being in so many rustic areas it feels good to shop with all the variety.

We have found the prices in Anchorage to be much better too. We paid $5.99 for a loaf of bread at Denali and here we got two for $4.49. That should give you a good idea of the price differences. We will be stocking up here for sure.

We are here to take Vickie to the airport and that makes it a sad visit for us. We do have our oldest grandson coming to visit for two weeks so that helps but we will still miss Vickie. We took a tour of the city on a trolley that was really nice. It didn't have any photo stops but it did give us a good idea of what the city is about. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
