Today we drove about 230 miles, from Smithers to Prince Albert, B.C. We are very happy to be in a big city again. The first thing we did is go to Costco and stock up our pantry. We also found a great Health Food Store with very reasonable prices.
We are staying at the Blue Spruce RV Park. They only had one full hook-up left. It is in the side parking lot and not much to tell about. The regular sites in the campground are very nice. They do have WiFi but where we are it is very slow. The cost was $27.50 a night. We are staying for two days and then heading toward Washington.
We are a little sad leaving Alaska behind. We look out our windows and the views are not the same. We were so blessed to spend 3 months in such a beautiful surrounding. Waking up to glaciers in view of our windshield and bears and snow capped mountains. What a wonderful summer we had!
We are looking forward to having our Sprint phone, our Direct TV and our computer card. Yeah! We have really missed being able to talk to family on our way back through Canada. This has been the hardest part of our trip. We don't want to take for granted all the beauty we are seeing in Canada, but we are driven to get back to the U.S. too. We plan to find a beautiful spot and just stay put for about a month. We are ready to relax a bit. More later from B.C.
It is hard to believe it has been seven years since 9-11. We continue to pray for our country and those who lost loved ones. God bless us and keep us safe!
