We are in Anacortes, Washington staying on a beautiful bay at the Fidalgo Bay Resort. We got the Passport American rate of $25 a night, which is half price. We have full hook-ups with 50 amps. The park is absolutely beautiful with tons of apple trees, berries, plums and more. We pulled in facing the water and have the bay view from our windshield. We will be staying here for one week.

We took a driving tour of the town and we loved it. We had lunch at the Tokyo Japanese Restaurant and could not believe the price of $6.99 each. After Canadian prices we feel like RICH folks. :-) After checking out the town we rode up to Mount Erie. It was quite a drive to say the least. We had to blow the horn around every corner because you could not see the cars coming. One car came very close to us. He was flying back down the mountain and may have been losing control. We are glad he missed us.

We are enjoying relaxing in this awesome place for a week, then moving on to a new place for about a month so we can explore this great state. More later from Washington.
