Wes reading his GPS

Our second find

A mini cache

These wind chimes were one of the clues

Some of the items in the cache

I'm not going in those bushes - it will have to remain...

Gary found another one

More items in a cache

And some more...

Geocaching leads you to some pretty places you might not see otherwise

It was really windy when we got up this morning, so fishing from the boat was not an option. Instead, we went geocaching. Geocaching is an activity using your GPS to find hidden things (caches) around the world. We find the GPS readings from a site on the internet and download them into our GPS and then follow the directions until we find the cache. Great fun! We located 6 of them today in the Aransas Pass area.

The guys are still a little depleted from the flu they had the last couple of days, so after a lunch at the Big Fisherman, we headed home for more doctoring and naps. Our planned fish fry for tonight has been put on hold until tomorrow when, hopefully, the wind will not be so strong and the guys will feel better.
