Today Inge Rider and I attended the Midday Music Series – a collaboration between the Butler School of Music and the Blanton Museum of Art. The program today was presented by the resident graduate Cordova String Quartet; they held an open rehearsal to show the process of perfecting chamber music. They would play a little music and then anyone in the audience could stop them to ask a question. At the end they played several works without interruption. It was an interesting program and the music was lovely.
We had lunch at the Blanton Café. I brought home half of my sandwich for dinner tonight.
