One thing I failed to mention in my last TWO entries was, it's time to head south for the winter! ! ! Brrrr, it's getting cold up there in New York by Lake George and of course, the leaves are a changing. We saw geese and ducks bunching up and feeding and the beautiful leaf changing is AWESOME ! Here in this part of Pennsylvania is also getting chilly, a couple low 50's nights...

This move of a mere 189 miles was easy. This stop is near YORK, PA at TT Gettysburg Farm, we've been here before and like it. We picked out a nice site down by the river. Dave discovered in the "Watch it made in the USA" book several factories offer tours. Now we had to choose whether it would be pretzels, potato chips, chocolate or motor cycles! So yea, though we've been in this area before we hadn't check the book before.

The Harley Davidson Factory tours are fabulous. you have two from which to choose, one, is 2 hrs very detailed stroll through this 650,000 sq.ft. plant, costing $35 @ and the other is free but is not so detailed and is 1 hr long. Dave actually did both tours, buying his $35 "Steel Toed Tour" Ticket at the gift shop and joining the 10:30 a.m. tour. Afterward, he joined the 1:15 p.m. tour. If your coming here for a tour of HD, the plant is easy to find, take the Hwy 30 east exit from I-83 head east on Hwy 30 for 3/4 mile follow the signs. Enjoy the pictures! Wow...
