Last one!

We have had a busy week, cleaning and preparing for our departure. We took everything out of the basement to clean and organize for travel. We got all the stuff out of the little storage building provided by Crown Villa, and put it all back where it belongs. It was nice having all that extra room while we were here.

We had planned to leave Tuesday morning, heading toward California. We got up this morning to about 3 inches of snow, with more on the way. We will just wait it out and enjoy the white stuff for another week or so. Our yard is beautiful again and Ollie has been enjoying it much. He is doing great and we are happy to see him playing.

We took a nice drive this week to another state park called Prineville Reservoir State Park. We did a little geocaching and enjoyed the area much. Prineville Reservoir was formed by mountain streams flowing out of the Ochoco Mountains and joining together to create the Crooked River, which is dammed near Prineville. Bowman Dam on the river forms Prineville Reservoir State Park.

Recreational activities include boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking. The campground has 22 full hookups, 23 electrical and 23 tent sites, and 5 cabins. I took a picture of the prices for anyone interested in staying in the park. It has a beautiful beach and would be a great place to visit in the summer. Another awesome place to visit if you are ever in the Bend area. We have been amazed with this area, even with a ton of stuff closed for the winter, we have been busy exploring and there is still more to see.

I took a ton of pictures for you to see. I even did a few videos of Jerry with the snow shovel. :-) More later from somewhere down the road, USA.
