Last one!

We are staying in Sisters, Oregon at Sisters KOA. It is a very nice park with a lake and tons of geese. We left Bend Monday night and drove the coach to Coach Masters RV Repair to get our ball joints replaced. We started hearing a squeaky sound way back in Alaska. We called American Coach from Alaska and they told us we would be fine, we could wait and have them replaced when we returned to the lower 48. We chose to have them shipped to Bend, Oregon so we could enjoy Bend and then have them replaced when we decided to leave.

American Coach said they had problems with them so and they shipped them to us free. All we had to pay was the $499 labor charges. We are very happy with the work at Coach Masters. They even hooked us up to 50 amps for two nights. The night before the work and the night after. I am glad they had the hook-ups because it was snowing and 12 degrees both nights. :-) They did a great job, we are happy to have that chore finished.

We left Coach Masters early this morning, hoping to get over the Santiam Pass and head on toward the Oregon Coast. The best we could do is about 30 miles before we heard about snow on the pass with chains required. We may have to change our plans and head south instead. :-) More later from Oregon.
