Our flight from Rochester to Atlanta was at noon, so we did not have to rush out the door. Atlanta had storms surrounding it, but we did not experience any bad weather except some bump as we landed. There was a 3 hour layover and we had a nice dinner at the Jekyll Island Seafood Company and then boarded. The weather front came through just as we were 14th in line to take off and the plane had to taxi (at a fast speed) to the other end of the runway. That all made us an hour late but the pilot “made up for it” and we got in only 30 minutes late. Customs was swift and we were met by Allan who had a welcome sign for us. He drove us to our resort (El Mangroove) and we had a great night’s sleep.
