It has just started to drizzel.

Now we see the storm approaching.

On the highway just in time.

We see brighter skies just ahead.

It was foggy but the roads were okay until we reached the City of Dallas or shall we call it the City of Construction. It didn't matter which highway we were taking there was either a new bridge being built, the highway being widening or just maintenance. What a mess.

After a few detours we found our way to the peaceful South Fork Ranch of the famous tv show "Dallas".

We took the tour and were planning on having lunch at the Miss Ellie's restaurant but we weren't really keen what was on the menu so decided to head out and we could have an early night at the rest stop before Memphis.

Well, thank goodness for that decision. As we pulled out of the Southfork Ranch parking lot it was beginning to drizzel. We turned on the radio only to hear Tornado Warnings! It was now going through Arlington and heading our way. We had passed Arlington earlier and luckly for us we were now headed in the other direction.
