We traveled up to the Fort Myers area where we had a reservation at the Red Coconut RV "Resort" where Anne had stayed with her family in the late 1950's. We were saddened by the commercialized changes to this area. The sites were so close together that we felt we were in a parking lot. However, we had a decent view of the beach. Tom went out one afternoon for 20 minutes and practiced being a "beach person." I guess we are just not beach people!
The contrast of this park to the State Parks made us realize where we really liked to camp.
