Gull Lake Recreation Area - Site 29 (2)

A Black Squirrel we saw just before we left

We are finishing up our stay at Gull Lake Recreation Area. It is a Corp of Engineer campground and has some large, nicely shaded campsites. We haven’t done much here except relax and get ready for the FMCA convention in St. Paul, MN that we will travel to tomorrow. The convention doesn’t actually start until Monday but since we are representing out local chapter, the Florida Ramblers, we are scheduled for entry on tomorrow, Friday. There are so many motorhomes coming to this event that everyone has a four-hour block assigned for arriving to be parked in order to alleviate traffic in St. Paul. They don’t want a thousand motorhomes on their streets at the same time, not to mention the problem with parking that many vehicles at once.

I have included a couple of pictures of the campsite but haven’t taken any other pictures as the only thing we have done is go to Wal-Mart to stock up for the week will be in St. Paul. I think you probably know what Wal-Mart looks like!!!
