Columbia River

This is more like it!

We arrived home safe and sound Saturday night at 9:30pm. It was a long day of driving - the longest of our entire trip, but it was good to get home

We left Missoula at 7:00am this morning and our original plan was to stop for the night in Ellensburg, WA - about 3 hours from Bellingham. However, with the time change, we actually arrived in Ellensburg at 1:00pm. So, we both decided that we would continue on to the border and just head home a day early.

At the border, we were very lucky - no lineup at all. The customs agent just asked us how long we had been in the U.S. and then waved us through - all of 5 minutes total. Then, we got lucky at the ferry. We got there just after 6:00pm and again - no waits, just 7% full, so we were able to get on the 7:00pm ferry to Swartz Bay.

We had a great trip with absoulutely no problems at all!
