BULOW PLANTATION HISTORIC SITE
On Saturday, we ventured out to find the boogie boards and along the way ended up doing some off roading adventures. Yes, we traveled off road through some of Florida's thickest vegitation and we encountered difficulties with other so seekers traveling the opposite direction, on a 1 lane dirt road. It paid off - we saw the ruins of Bulow Sugar Mill (the largest sugar mill in Florida) built in 1820 and burned down in 1836 by the Seminoles.
