Paula and Charlie parked at the farm

Pulling out - on their way east

Last week, May 8th, Paula and Charlie Gray, members of the Class of '05, stopped by the farm for a visit. They are on their way east and they spent a night with us. We have installed a 50 amp hook up and have water available and a dump station in town. We enjoyed visiting with them and it ended all too soon as they pulled out on Wednesday morning.

On Saturday, May 12, we packed up both our vehicles and the little red trailer and headed west to Aurora, Colorado to visit with our daughter, Suzy, and her family. We arrived in time to celebrate Mother's Day today. We enjoyed attending church with them and had a chance to meet with many old friends while we were there. After church, we enjoyed a fantastic Prime Rib dinner prepared by Mike and the kids. Tomorrow and Tuesday we are meeting with friends for lunch and visiting. On Wednesday, our other daughter, Sunny, will arrive at the airport to join in the festivities. Our grandson will be graduating from Pickens Technical School on Thursday evening and then he will graduate from Rangeview High School on Friday. Saturday is an open house/BBQ to celebrate. In between all these events, we will do some shopping, car repairs, rental house repairs and upkeep and meeting with good friends. We will return home on Wednesday, May 23, totally worn out and ready for the peace and quiet of the farm.

I will try to post some photos etc. later on this week. Our internet connection is not always available here, so we will need to work around that.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
