Back home :-)

Today is a special day for us, it is our 44th anniversary. Before we retired and started traveling in our RV, we would always take a couple of weeks vacation and go somewhere special for our anniversary. This year took quite a bit of planning and searching. We have already had the best year of our life traveling. :-) We heard about a special place about 60 miles from Bend, called Kahneeta High Desert Resort & Casino. We decided to book a room for three nights and enjoy eating out and relaxing in their huge, hot mineral springs pool. We had a fabulous time. When we swam in the pool it was about 40 degrees outside, but once you got into that 95 degree pool it was nice and warm.

Kah-Nee-Ta is located on the 600,000-acre Warm Springs Reservation. The resort features lodge and village accommodations, a Casino, RV park, 18-hole golf course, Spa Wanapine, dining, natural hot springs-fed Village pool, hiking trails, horseback riding and more.

This is the first time we have slept out of our RV in almost a year. We enjoyed it much but really missed our RV too. The drive to the resort was absolutely beautiful. I took a ton of pictures to show you. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. More later from Bend.
