Today was another perfect day, with a high of 78 degrees. This afternoon I walked to Zilker Park, which is only about three blocks from Pecan Grove. I took the hike and bike trail to Lou Neff Point, which is at the confluence of Barton Creek and Lady Bird Lake (Colorado River). Not surprisingly, the park was full of people and dogs. There must have been at least two thousand people, maybe more. They were participating in the usual activities: kayaking, biking, jogging, playing in the water, picnicking and such. In my usual fashion, I just ambled along looking for photos needing to be taken. It took me nearly two hours and I was really hot and tired by the time I got back home.
