I finally have a computer back! This was our first opportunity since we heard on Thursday that the old one died and we needed to keep the new one – the Geek Squad was transferring our data. So we left this morning and had a lovely trip up through the pass, above the clouds, and back down. We stopped at a campground just over the border into Idaho, in the Targhee National Forest, to check out the wildflowers and birds. It was lovely and quiet in the big woods – neat flowers and few birds.

Best Buy was ready for us, then we shopped at Walmart for any last goodies we might need. We found a microwavable bowl with a steam vent, that we can use for carrying and heating food when we close each Monday night. Lunch was at the Panda Express. After I had gotten ill after a Chinese buffet in McAllen, I wasn’t so sure, but we decided to give it a try. It was excellent. We shared a plate – HUGE amount of food. We had fried rice, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken. Great flavors and still feeling great!

When we arrived home, I worked for several hours to get most everything up and running. Still have work to do on the photos, as my favorite program, Photo Gallery, does not seem to be available. We’ll see what works later.

We joined Joe and Margaret for dinner at Eleanor’s – good food and good company – a wonderful day.
