Mom and Dad’s fall trip 2018 travel blog

Sunset over soy bean field

Beautiful sunset

Creepy road to our campgrounds

Ethanol factory

Flooded farm fields. River ran over

* We left camp at 9:23. Drove to Springfield, Illinois.

*Again miles and miles of corn. And figured out soy bean crops as well. This leg of the trip flatter ground.

*the USA had 90,000,000 acres of corn

*the music we listen to are the country bands playing at the grand ole opry.

*Our koa campground is really nice! Lots of grass and activities to do.

*while we walked Brady tonight we saw the most beautiful sunset.

*we stood by a soy bean crop. Kind of surreal to me. I picked a pod.

*I made patty melts for dinner.

The day of traveling is complete. The campground is in the boonies, but it is nice. Mom has been keeping me informed about the corn crops we pass through, she is knowledgeable of the corn crop now...LOL
