|Today we started off down a road that seemed to make sense. I asked Elton if he could make it 50 km with the gas that we had left. He said sure, not problem.. So we head off.. Thank goodness for the GPS and I will use it more in the future. The road that the GPS put us on was a long and rough gravel road.. but what it doesn't tell you is: there were no gas stations for miles.. meaning that we had to turn back and made it on fumes. Then we had a wonderful breakfast in the little deli in the middle of town.. 2 minutes from where we stayed the night. We gassed up and headed out again. This time we make it to Hobart and took in the view from Mount Wellington just as a cloud over took the mountain. Back down the mountain and lunch on the water. We each had the fisherman's basket with a beer. Excellent meal. Then we found a site for the night and took a walk down the beach... Seven mile beach.
