On Hwy 24 between Torrey, UT and Moab, UT - gray and...

We drove from Bryce Canyon to Torrey, Utah on July 31. It is a beautiful drive over the mountains with 10% grades and lots of hair pin turns. We spent the night at Sand Creek RV park, a very small park with a beautiful view of red cliffs. We were the only people staying there. We went to Capitol Reef the morning of Aug. 1. The cliffs and formations there are different from the other places we have seen. We drove on Hwy 24 for a while on the way to Moab and it had gray and gold cliffs and dark gray dunes in places. At one point it looked like we were on the moon and we came to a town called Luna Mesa.

We are staying at the Portal RV park just outside of Arches National Park.
