The wind was cold and still rather strong this morning but it didn’t cause any driving problems. It was a bit uncomfortable hooking up to the utilities, though!
When I arrived back at Pecan Grove RV Park, I was surprised to see several piles of leaves and a trash barrel on my site. I had no idea who the “good fairy” was! However, later in the afternoon, my neighbor Stevie, knocked on my door with a note telling me that he needed to go to Home Depot to buy some large trash bags. (He is deaf and mute.) He couldn’t ride his cycle due to the high wind. I told him that he could have the box of bags I already had. He was very pleased. He’s such a nice guy. The funny thing is that I thought I had already gotten most of my dead leaves disposed of several weeks ago!
After I had gotten set up, Nancy and I went to Might Fine Burgers for a late lunch. Their burgers are very good. That’s the first time I had eaten there.
On the way, I stopped at a car wash to give Sweet Pea a bath. While we were gone, there was a little rain in Austin– just enough to really mess up our vehicles.
After lunch we went to World Market – also a first for me. I bought some cookies and some silver etched stack rings.
