Good Morning and a Merry Christmas to you..

We got to our park in Miami about 1:00 yesterday and hurried to set up, grab a quick lunch at home and head for the beaches.. We had planned on going to South Beach but traffic was awful in downtown Miami so we took a right turn and went across the five mile causeway to Key Biscayne… What a wonderful surprise…

We drove all the way to the end of the Key and came to the Cape Florida State Park where we parked and walked along the tip and back the other side to Cape Lighthouse.. The lighthouse has 109 stairs spiraling to the top and thanks to the energy I have gained since the B-12 shots, we started up.. Well before we got half way both Bill and I were getting dizzy so we came back down and grounded ourselves… It was a beautiful park and we did quite a bit of walking before heading back to one of the nicest beaches we have been on. We took a ton of pictures to share.

Our drive to and back took us along the coastal road through Coconut Grove and a street lined with Banyan Trees on both sides.. It was awesome..

Enjoy the pictures while we take our picnic basket and head to another beach today. I’ll bring the camera.
