The next 4 days in New York passed in a bit of a blur really. I was out early every day and back late of an evening trying to squeeze in as much as I could.

I caught the ferry out to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty (how could I go to NY and not see that!) and also went to Ellis Island which was formerly the immigration hall which immigrants passed through upon arrival by boat to the USA.

Central Park was incredible! I had no idea it was so HUGE! I spent hours wandering around in there and didn’t even come close to seeing all of it. Its amazing that such a large oasis exists in the middle of such an enormous city.

I went to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum which was pretty good, most of the statues looked pretty realistic although I was a little disappointed with the Elton likeness…

On the last day I had in NY I went to see a Broadway show; Mary Poppins, which I loved.

So much going on that I can’t keep a track of it all in my mind so I’ll let the pictures tell the story :)
