This morning I ran a few errands and then went to Georgetown to get a haircut by Pat Guess. She is one of a very few hair stylists who knows how to cut wavy hair. In fact, she told me that my hair is easy to deal with! Several others who had cut it in the past said that it was difficult -- which is why they didn't do a good job!
Afterwards I met my friend, Nita Purser, at McAlister's Deli for a late lunch. They have very good sandwiches and soups. After lunch we went to Nita's apartment to spend the rest of the afternoon just visiting. She is recovering from cancer surgery and was looking much better than the last time I saw her.
