Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

Well, the final sale is over and we are down to a few boxes. If it isn't in our rig, we pretty much don't own it any more. The sale was a big success, and Mom was tickled to sell many of her unused items as well. The three of us were exhausted last night....I went to bed at 10:30pm! A first for me in many years as I am a night owl.

We spent the entire day today repacking the basement and loading the quad. I also rearranged many of the cabinets in the kitchen (again) as we removed so many things we have more room available now. Hopefully our weight is down as well. That would be a good thing...

Mom prepared a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings for our final dinner this evening. It was delicious! We have gotten so used to sharing our meals with family in recent months it will seem strange to be preparing meals for two again. I am going to have to re-learn portions, LOL!

So, we're on the road again tomorrow morning. Headed for Casper, Wyoming for a couple of days with family and then on to Custer, South Dakota. Not sure if we will arrive Thursday or Friday. We want to beat the July 4th crowd, so we are trying for Thursday. So, we'll see you all on down the road. Goodnight....
