A few days ago I discovered water in the middle of my galley floor when I stepped barefoot on a wet area rug. Ugh! I couldn’t figure out where the water was coming from, so I called RV Technology. They were booked up for several days, but I was able to set an appointment for today. In the meantime, I kept a bath towel on the floor to soak up the water. I had feared that the hard freeze had caused a pipe or holding tank to burst. Thankfully, the leak wasn’t a large one. The RV tech came early this afternoon to check it out. He discovered that the water pump was leaking. It had to be replaced.
Tonight I called Best Buy’s Geek Squad Service Center to see if the tech could speed up my computer. Maybe I expected too much from my new HP and Windows 10, but I thought it would be a lot faster than my old Dell with Windows XP. Not so. Even after the Geek had spent over an hour in control of my computer, I couldn’t tell much difference after he had finished. The only thing I’ve noticed so far is that all the fonts are tiny! Now I need to figure out how to make them larger so I won’t develop eye strain.
