Last one!

We had a wonderful time today. We visited Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, then we took a tour of the Castle In The Clouds, in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. We enjoyed seeing 1,000 feet of waterfall, the 1914 Castle, free lectures and a self guided tour.

The Castle in the Clouds is the spectacular, 5,500-acre estate built in 1914 in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, by eccentric industrialist Thomas Plant. Not only is the home architecturally fascinating, its located high in the Ossipee Mountains which affords stunning views of Lake Winnepesaukee.

A wedding was also happening during our tour, we were able to get a few pictures of the patio where they were setting up. I do not know how much it cost to have a wedding at the castle, but I imagine it is not cheap. :-) It was an incredible tour. I am adding photos of the inside bedrooms, the living room, kitchen and more. The drive up to the castle was absolutely beautiful. You stop to view huge glacial rocks, waterfalls and much more. Once you are inside the castle it is beautiful with museum quality items on display. I will be adding more pictures tomorrow after I sort though all of them. Please look back for more later.

We also enjoyed visiting Lake Winnipesaukee. We drove around a lot of it and enjoyed watching all the kids swimming, fishing and boating in the water. They have every kind of boat tour anyone could possible want to do. We enjoyed fresh fish and seafood while viewing the lake at a lovely outside cafe. Excellent views and food. We hope you enjoy the photos.
