We had another wonderful day visiting the town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. This is one of the coolest towns we have ever visited.
The historic town was designated a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in 1995. This designation ensures protection for much of Lunenburg's unique architecture and civic design, being the best example of planned British colonial settlement in North America.
Houses, businesses, churches and public buildings from the late 1700s and early 1800s are still being used today. I took so many pictures in this awesome town, I am having trouble deciding which ones to add. This place is a photographer's paradise.
We were also looking for a very special restaurant. Jerry had cash burning his pockets. He received money for father's day from Kim & Jerry. He promised to have dinner out and finally got to spend it today. He was waiting to find the perfect restaurant, and found it in Lunenburg. Thanks much guys, we had a great day! I am adding pictures to tell the rest of the story.
