Washington Street in Historic Section

Union Station

This morning I was up early so I could get my chores done in time to find a church to attend. When I arrived at one that I had identified as the closest to the RV park, I couldn't find a place to park. So I drove down Washington Boulevard, one of the principal streets, and found a parking spot in front of the Christian Worship Center. They were a very friendly group of people; most of them spoke to me. Their pastor was on vacation, so one of the Sunday School teachers delivered the sermon. It was his first experience. Based on his message, I'd say that he is off to a very good start.

After a quick bite of lunch, I went to Union Station, which houses several museums and art galleries. However, they were closed; so I headed out of town. I stopped at Flying J to top off my fuel tank and to weigh Daisy. I had been intending to do that for months. I discovered, to my chagrin, that she needs to go on a diet because she's 150 pounds over the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). By the time I finish my downsizing, that problem should be resolved.
