|It's been a busy few days baking & wrapping & visiting with family & friends. Grandson Don & his family came by on Tuesday for a bit. So good to see them again. Great granddaughter Rose is growing up oh so quickly. What a doll! Looking forward to spending more time with them in the coming days & with our other grandchildren as well.
This evening we attended the 3pm Christmas Eve Service at our church and then came home and enjoyed lasagna with trimmings for dinner with Bonnie & Larry and our niece & nephew. It was a pretty laid back evening after our tummy's got full, although the guys did manage to eat two pieces of pie & then a couple of yeast rolls each as they came out of the oven! And that was after our dinner. Oh my, to be young again with a steaming metabolism system, lol!
It's been quite beautiful weather wise for the past couple of weeks but this afternoon a cold front moved in and the wind is whistling around pretty good as I write this. We are supposed to be across town at son Larry's by 7am in the morning so I guess I should think about hitting the sack. Sure hope the wind dies down & it warms up a bit tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by! We really appreciate you hanging in there with us as we sit here in Nevada enjoying our family. We'll be back on the road again soon. Though not too soon, lol!
And finally, Larry & I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. May the light of love shine upon you, and may your life be filled with blessings this Christmas season and in the coming year!
