Evening Interislander coming into Picton

Picton Tue 13th Nov. 9-22°C, Fine, light breeze.

Went to the 'Edwin Fox' museum, entry seems steep at $15, but worth it for supporting a fascinating display of the oldest remaining merchant ship in the world, also the last surviving immigrant ship to bring convicts to Australia.

Short drive to Karaka Point, nice views of Waikawa Bay, watched sailing regatta split by Interislander ferry heading north to Wellington.

Had a nice wander around the town, really pretty place. Lots of eco tours and adventures like sea kayaking, diving, mountain biking, water taxis that drop off and pick up hikers at various places on the sounds.

Adventured to a nice cafe with a harbour view, for coffee, cake, and a newspaper.
