Well, it was finally time to get back out on the road again for the coming summer months. Although we lived in Las Vegas for nearly 40 years & should be used to their summertime temperatures, I just can't deal with the heat much anymore. When we started this full time adventure over 10 years ago I told Larry to please try to keep me where the temperature runs between 70-75 most days. So far he's done a great job of taking us to the best places in the country!!! Looking forward to much more :)

Our first stop for now will be a visit with Mom. It was a lovely 250 mile drive to Ely. We can't remember the last time we saw the desert this green. The temperature dropped about 25 degrees between Las Vegas & Ely, requiring a light jacket while setting up. Felt so good to me! We've actually been here for over week, arriving last Monday, the 23rd, so I'm a bit behind in posting. It sprinkled lightly each of the first 6 days we were here, not really enough to say it rained, just enough to spot up the truck nicely :) I'll catch everything up here in the next few days. Thanks for stopping by and I promise, I'll post more now that we're mobile again.
