Our trip from Arbor Vitae to Stevens Point, WI was a pleasant 101 mile drive on mostly good, four-lane road that turned into Interstate 39 in Wausau. We are staying at the Rivers Edge Campground a little north of Stevens Point, WI. It is a very large campground where we had tried to spend Labor Day but they initially didn't have a spot for us. You sit here now and are amazed that all of these campsites were full of people and you can see a hundred empty sites now. We have a 50 amp pull-through with water and a dump on the way out. Since we are only here overnight, we are only hooked up to electrical. We have very strong Verizon and the satellite lock was quick and easy.

Immediately after getting the Mothership set up, we jumped in Libby and headed for Marshfield, WI where we visited Jurustic Park. This park is full of metal figures shaped and constructed by a retired lawyer, Clyde Wynia. He has a remarkable talent for making these items as well as a quick wit when dealing with the public. We were the only ones there but he spent at least a half-hour telling us about the place, some of the figures themselves, and just conversing with us in general about our travels and how he and his wife, Nancy, started the place and keep it going. She has worked in glasswork for over 40 years and turns out some very unique items in her lab on the grounds. Together they are a great team turning out a great place to visit and we would highly recommend a visit.

Tomorrow, we head for Dodgeville, WI which will be our last stop in Wisconsin. The campground is out in the country a good ways so we are not sure how good our cell service will be if we have any at all.
