April 13 - 19/13

April 13, we drove north to Nashville to stay at the 2 Rivers Campground, another great day to drive.

Mike wanted to fill in our stats and tried to find older caches. So, we headed south to a site that was part of the American Civil War in Franklin and hiked up the hill to find it. After that, we hiked in a nice park and had dinner at Jason’s Deli, our last feed there.

We went bowling and yes Mike beat me all three games, but I’m getting better at it. I didn’t have too many gutter balls. After that we stocked up on supplies at Costco and enjoyed a frozen yogurt sundae. We came home and Duke Harris was playing at the clubhouse, he was very good.

While we were caching in the area, we noticed a Famous Dave’s BBQ restaurant and Mike’s mouth watered. We haven’t had FD’s since Tucson, AZ three years ago. So, we had to have a fill and it was fabulous. As, Mike would says "Best BBQ Ever" especially for the ribs.

Mike emailed to see if Roscoe could wash the RV and we got washed, he does an excellent job. He is very nice and he goes on the roof to clean it in his stocking feet, so not to damage the vinyl roof. Our shoulders are saved again. Mike was able to get parts to repair the front door lock because it was stripped.

Campground Notes:

Good Sam on daily $259.00/week, E-30a/W/S, gravel pad, free wi-fi (very fast), easy but tight satellite set-up, very noisy, amenities at least 10 minutes, laundry, nice campground, great to get repairs done.
