Rancho Seco-Day 219 April - Another up-at-five morning to get to Rancho Seco for day 2 of our AVA event by 8 to help with the setup. Only about 25 walkers showed up today and only about 15 of those enjoyed the BBQ but it was still a fun day. Actually, it was a lot easier and mo-funner than yesterday. Joanna and I pretty much set up everything by ourselves. I primary focused on getting the grill going and cooking while Joanna arraigned the table and set out the chow. I am so glad that Joanna was there. Her contributions were immeasurable. After the event, I decided to spend the night at the park and with help from one of the rangers, was able to roundup some firewood. Later in the cool night air I enjoyed a wonderful fire under a beautiful starlit sky. It was a great way to cap off a delightful weekend.
