'Roughing It Smoothly' travel blog

Guess we made it to as far Southeast as we will be going. We got in about 3 pm today. We got settled in Skidaway Island State Park and then drove into Savannah this evening. Along the Savannah river there are buildings and cobblestone roads dating back to 1820. This is the original place that the plantation owners brought their cotton and goods to load on to ships. It is very interesting. We had a very beautiful evening walking along River Street.
