Our visit to Tulsa was a hit with us. Staying with a Boondockers Welcome host made it so much more personable, too.

Our drive today was 245 miles, most of which was on a state highway westward passed OkLahoma City then south to I-40. From the time we got started to the time we stopped there was wind amounting to 22 mph from the south almost all the time. The wind was from the south was buffeting our side terrible. When we reached 200 miles, Rebecca searched on “Allstays” app for RV parks up ahead and found Elk Creek RV Park in Elk City. This is an old but updated park that has some nice amenities. With Good Sam membership a nights stay is only $32.
