Lake Imogene with wind blowing the trees

Lots of water but still okay to camp

Our site at the Flying Goose Campground

We have safely arrived after a very long day. We had really heavy rain and winds up to 30 miles an hour. We had problems with the slide top blowing and had to stop and fix it at a rest area.

Minnesota has had over 10 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. They said it's about the amount they normally get in three to four months.

The campground we had planned to stop at told us not to come. We called to see how wet it was and she said it was flooded and they were using crates to get around their sites.

We were happy to find The Flying Goose Campground in Fairmont, Minnesota. It is wet too, but much better than the other ones nearby.

We will relax and let the rain pass before continuing our drive to the West.
